Installation Requirements & Disclaimer

These splitters are engineered for enthusiasts who demand real-world durability and performance. Because of the high aerodynamic loads generated, installation is not a simple "bolt-on" process. Drilling Required: To properly secure the splitter, drilling through the underside of the Roush bumper cover is necessary. Stainless steel hardware is provided for these attachment points.
Chassis Mounting is Essential: For highway speeds or track use, the splitter must be chassis-mounted. At a minimum, splitter rods should be attached to a rigid structural point of the vehicle.
Buyer Discretion: Various methods exist to achieve a rock-solid chassis mount (custom brackets, support rods, etc.). The specific hardware and method chosen to bridge the gap between the splitter and the vehicle frame are at the discretion and responsibility of the installer.
Speed Rating: Structural integrity of the splitter or the bumper cover cannot be guaranteed if the unit is not properly supported. For high-speed driving, ensure mounting points are reinforced to the vehicle chassis.
